KiKi is cool. We would be surprised if you ever find a more refined five pounds of MinPin. KiKi is a lady's lady. She is slim (could even gain a pound or so), and good looking with a beautiful red coat. She's nine and not "into everything, running though the house on a MinPin search-and-destroy-mission" stage of her life. She would much rather sit with you and share the events of the day. In fact, she will cuddle up without the slightest hesitation. This great dog has many years to warm your lap and your heart. She will surely be in high demand so hurry, but be cool about it. After all, KiKi is.
UPDATE 7/26: UPDATE on Miss Kiki! She's turned into an absolutely gorgeous minpin! Her foster mom has taken wonderful care of her and she is the perfect weight at 8lbs.
She gets along with just about every human and other canine friends. She loves to go outside and play, loves toys, and according to her foster mom, is the head of the household! She loves to sleep on the sofa and she doesn't mind the crate. We're very proud of Miss Kiki and the way she's been able to adjust to a loving foster home. Remember, Kiki was given up by her original owner after 9 years because he was moving and wouldn't take her. He dumped her at a kill shelter! We still shake our heads every time this happens. So if you're looking for a lap buddy with a little bit of an attitude, she's the beauty for you! Won't you please adopt Miss Kiki and give her the chance to be loved in her new forever home?

Chaz: 3-4 yr old black & tan male, neutered, natural tail and ears. 16", 15 lb. Shots up-to-date, microchipped, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative. Owner give up.
Chaz is a happy dog and eager to please. He is very loving and likes attention. The more I know him the more I really do like him. He crates himself when he wants to nap, walks great on a leash, loves to run and play. Gets along great with other animals, cats and dogs but does not like to share his food (who does?). He does great with kids but gets excited and jumps on them. He is well behaved and can be trusted left alone in the house. The perfect home would be a loving family, large fenced yard and another dog as a playmate. Does this describe your home?

Shiloh: 3 yr old stag red male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 12 lb. Owner give-up.
Shiloh is such a good looking fellow! He may take a day or two to get used to his new family but once he is comfortable you won't be able to stop smiling; mainly because he likes to smile. He wags his tale faster than any other dog and he shows his teeth like a big giant grin! It is so funny and it will make you laugh every time! Shiloh loves to cuddle and if you let him he will sleep with his head on your pillow. He is really good about getting in his own bed to sleep if you prefer. He is still not to sure about his crate but each time he gets in it is easier than the last time. Shiloh is potty trained but it is necessary to keep him on a good schedule. Introducing Scooter the Superb!!! This great guy loves to relax and loves for his ears to be rubbed. He is very easy going and gets along with everybody. He is very quiet, not a barker at all, and he is very cuddly. He likes toys, chasing squirrels and curling up on the couch. He is potty trained and good on a leash. Scooter is a bit shy at first, but once you feed him a few treats he warms right up to you. We would love it if Scooter could find his forever home just in time for Christmas because he would make a great present!

Harley: 7-9 yr old Blk & Tan male, neutered, docked tail and natural ears, approx 11-12", 15lbs, Shots up-to-date. Heartworm tested and on preventative also just had a dental.
Harley is one of our best kept secrets. He is as sweet as they come. You couldn't ask for a better dog. He still loves to play by getting down on his front legs and jumping, then he runs toward you wagging all over wanting you to pet him and talk baby talk. He likes other dogs and cats. They play chase and wrestle plus Harly likes to grab the toys and shake the life out of them. He likes laying on his blankie at your feet. He loves just being in a nice warm lap and cuddling. He loves his food, but is not food aggressive at all. He's just an easy going happy-go-lucky guy. He will make a perfect companion.
Did I mention - He is completely housetrained. Never has he gone to the bathroom in the house!"

Nikki is a darling 7 yr old black and tan girl. She is docked, with stand up ears. She is potty trained inside with peepads and also knows the doggie door. She is gentle, sweet, playful, loves to go for walks and is looking for her forever home. She gets along okay with other dogs, but is rather shy. She is also crate trained, loves to sleep under tons of blankets and will take the others' blankets all to herself. She loves toys, and the squeakier the better. She is not much of a barker, and would do well with another small dog. She's not so fond of the bigger dogs. She would do well with another gentle small dog. She is fine with cats. In a word, she is a precious little soul looking for that special person to give her kisses and hugs to -- are you ready for her love?

Dillon is a 9 year old sweetheart. She is an owner turn in due to a divorce and is spayed, housebroken and crated trained. She likes sleeping and taking her naps in her crate on her own. She also loves to sit in a chair with me. She get along very well with cats and even will share a recliner with them for their naps. She also gets along with little dogs once she gets to know them. Dillon is still very playful in spite of her age. She is very lovable and very protective. She would do better in a home with only adults or older children and no dogs bigger than her.

Roscoe is his name and he is into fun and games. He is full of life, love and happiness. He is a morning boy, getting up and running around in circles and ready to play. He has been living in a household with cats and both large and small dogs. He can be an escape artist and that is probably why he is with us now. He is very smart and knows what "go to our house" means, he also knows how to wait for treats and sits in his own special way. He is a climber and sometimes can be found on the kitchen table.

Rocky: 1-2 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 14", 10 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Rocky is a sweet and loving min pin who hasn't had the best start to his young life. He was rescued by a passerby after he was dumped from a car. At the time, he was very sick and in much pain due to an untreated infection, but he is healthy now and looking for the right home. It seems like Rocky has not been treated very well in the past, so he can be very nervous and scared around new people. But once he gets to know you, he becomes your new shadow - he can be kind of clingy, but in a good way. Rocky absolutely loves other dogs - his tail never stops wagging as he tries to make them all play with him - so far, he hasn't met a dog he hasn't liked. He also likes to spend time snuggling with his female people (he's very nervous around men, it's something he will need some help to work on) and he prefers to sleep in your bed. Rocky is still working on his housetraining. Th is little boy is very beautiful, with nice dark rust markings, tall ears, and very expressive eyes. He would prefer a home where people are home a lot, or can take him along on adventures, as he doesn't like to be left home alone too much (and can bark up quite a racket), and a house (not an apartment) is probably a must because of his tendency to be vocal. He needs a home where people will love and dote on him and help him with learning to trust people again, with only positive reinforcement because he cowers if he thinks he might be in trouble. Rudy or "Rudolph the Red Nosed Minpin" is as adorable as his name implies. Rudy is quite a "talker" (not to be mistaken for a barker) and will make sure you always know what he's thinking .... LOL! This little guy will literally bounce behind you as he follows you around the house. He bonds very quickly and craves affection. Rudy is crate trained and housetrained using a dog door. He gets along fine with other small dogs. He is on the submissive side and would never challenge another animal for position; however, he's also very happy-go-lucky once he's comfortable in his environment. Rudy will make a great companion for some lucky person. Could that be you?

This beautiful girl is definitely the "Belle" of the Ball. She is a very elegant and refined minpin. Belle is a deep red, almost chestnut color, that is absolutely beautiful. I am a natural min-pin tail ears and all. I am spayed, have all shots, heartworm tested which was neg. I do well in a crate. Small children scare me and so do large crowds of people. Meet Kimi .... A beautiful all natural girl looking for a new family to call her own. Kimi's first order of business when she arrived at her foster home was to quickly explore every room, nook, cranny, and piece of furniture, and then as though she was satisfied she had it all drawn up as a map in her brain, she settled down in a doggie bed. Kimi is friendly and self-confident, even when first meeting strangers. She gets along well with other small dogs. We don't know about cats. WAKE UP TO TICKLE WHISKER KISSES with Jasper. Jasper is a young, playful, handsome, loving companion. He enjoys going for walks, zipping around the dog park and is an A+ lap sitter & cuddler; you will enjoy stroking his velvety soft coat.
Jasper loves the toy box. He will dig through to find just the right treasure to hop back into his cozy bed to play with. This little clown will keep you laughing with his antics, especially when he walks around on his hind legs; he looks like a little monkey. The more you laugh the more his corkscrew tail waggles.
He is just fine with strangers, loves playing with other dogs and would be good with dog savvy children. He already comes when he is called, is doing well with potty training and although he is is not fond of car rides he is becoming more comfortable with being in the car. Jasper would enjoy a home with a yard to run and play in and would love to have another dog to play with, no apartments please. Jasper is a very social boy who enjoys the company of people so he would also like a home where he won't be left alone for too long of a time or too frequently. He loves to sleep under the covers with his people.
Poor little Jasper was found wandering, alone, smelling of skunk and was taken in by a shelter as a stray. No one came to claim him and he quickly stole the hearts of the shelter personnel. Evan Almighty is a small, gorgeous, Baby Blue Boy in a Super-Smart big dog package. He is recuperating from a broken leg, has had surgery and will be ready to go to his forever home in January. Brownie: approx 4 old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 12" and 13 pounds, heartworm free and shots are up to date.
Brownie is a handsome guy. He has big brown eyes, a beautiful black coat with rust markings, soft as silk natural ears and a cute little docked tail. He is approximately four years old, weights around 13 pounds and is 12 inches at the shoulder. He loves to go for walks and rides in the car and is rapidly becoming an expert cuddle bug. When I first met Brownie I had the feeling that he had been a family dog not a family member. He didn't know how to play and be silly, he didn't know to take treats nicely, and he stayed on the perimeter of things, watching but not joining in the group, as though he thought he might not be welcome. I'm glad to say that in the last few weeks he has really started to bloom and wants to part of everything. Brownie doesn't do well with young children, but gets along fine with adults and other small dogs once he has had time to become familiar with them. Brownie is doggie door house broken. Brownie is looking for his forever home where he can be that extra special, best ever dog he wants to be.

I get along great with the other dogs in my foster home, and don't even mind the cats. I’m good with people once I have been introduced and have checked them out on my own. I’m housebroken; crate trained at bedtime and love to go for walks with my foster mom and her two minpins. My favorite thing to do is chew on a rawhide bone. My foster mom keeps me well supplied. My perfect forever home will have plenty of time to take me for walks, keep up with my puppy-like energy and give me lots of love."

Margo was rescued off the streets by a wonderful angel. She took her to the shelter to see if her owners could be located. When nobody came for her, she was due to be put to sleep. Margo's guardian angel kept watch over her, making sure she stayed safe. She delivered her to IMPS and she is now safe and settling in. She is a beautiful, quiet girl. Her tail vibrates to let you know she is happy. Losing a few pounds is on her list of things to do. But finding a new forever home is at the top of her list. Could you be that home? This little guy is very sweet and playful. He gets along with all other dogs (not sure about cats). He walks great on a leash and loves to ride in the car. Presto has some issues with a crate and would need to be worked with if his new family wanted him to use one. Presto is housetrained, leash trained, polite, he would be okay with older children, and as an only dog. He is a bit shy at first meeting him, but warms up quickly. Men will need to be gentle with him until he gets to know them.

Obie: 7 mth old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 8 lb. Shots up-to-date. Rescued from shelter.
Obie is very playful since he still quite young, shelter claims he is 7 months, he still is growing and will end up being a pretty cute dog. As you can see he has a really cute OverBite (hence the name) that makes him quite endearing. Currently learning the basics, sit, come, down, and he may be bi-lingual (I think he came from a Spanish speaking home). He is VERY social as he went to his first Holiday Party and LOVED all the kids running around and he was great with strangers as well! This poor little guy had a rough start in life. Obie was found running the streets starving after the Sylmar fires. He is still quite thin and is getting 3 square meals a day to get some weight on him. Once he gains a little weight he will be neutered and ready to adopt! Obie is a great little guy and will make someone very happy.

Della: 2½ years old, black and tan female, spayed, undocked tail and undocked ears. 13", 15 lb. Shots up-to-date. Rescued from shelter.
Remember that line from the song "Maria" from The Sound of Music: Maria makes me laugh? Well, Della makes me laugh. She is affectionate and cuddly. She wants to be where I am, if not doing what I'm doing, then having a nice little snooze. She loves my garden and inspects everything while I am busy with my winter chores. This polite little creature is momentarily interested in what I have on my dinner plate, but she does not bother me while I am eating-what good manners! Della is full of energy and loves to engage me in her play with squeaky toys.
Many a time she has fallen asleep with her favorite squeaky Santa doll between her paws. Della is house trained. She quickly learned the routine of the house and which doors lead where. She loves the car and will go to the door to the garage when she thinks she's ready to go for a ride. She is pretty well trained on a leash, but the sight of small birds causes great excitement on our two-mile walks. The shelter told me she is not good with cats. Della wants to please and is a great companion.

What a sweet and loving girl KC is! She is a beautiful little MinPin with a gorgeous set of eyes on her! KC is very well behaved, easy going and calm and would love to be on your lap every chance she gets. She's great with kids and other dogs and is housebroken. She will surely let you know when she has to "go" by jumping up and down to tell you. KC walks really nicely on a leash and likes to jump into your arms if you'll catch her! LaBron is a stunningly handsome young man eager for a permanent companion. He's been without a home for a very long time since he was used in a small backyard breeding enterprise. He does not throw himself at new people. He waits with restrained anticipation before offering friendship, but he's a typical loving, active Min Pin once he knows you. He loves to run and play so a yard would be good -- walking, hiking, jogging -- any kind of exercise will make him happy. He may do best in an experienced dog home since he needs to polish his basic obedience skills and housebreaking routine, but he's very smart, he learns fast, and he hasn't had anyone give him the care and interest he needs to become the perfect gentleman. He's so close though and that's all a credit to LaBron. (He does like oth er dogs and children).

Meet the Divine Miss Coco!! This 13 year YOUNG sweet little doll is looking for a new forever home not because she was naughty but because a family member became severely allergic to her. She can be shy when first meeting strangers but once comfortable, will become your little shadow. She gets along great with the other min pins, is as spunky and playful as they are (and they're 6!) and absolutely MUST go to a home that allows her to sleep in bed.. no ifs, ands or buts about it! She does okay in a crate for about 4 hours but really, she wants to spend her retirement years with her people, not cooped up. She LOVES to snuggle on a couch blankie and has done fairly well with potty training (as with my own dogs, I keep a close eye on everyone just the same). The best family for her will be where someone is home more often than not and doesn't have small children under 5 years old. Please don't forget, min pins can live to be 16-18 years old and this sweetheart has several wonderful years left!!

Scooter: 13 yo neutered, tri-color, cropped ears and docked tail. This little 7 lb sweetheart was found at DMAS and they were getting ready to put him down.
This sweet little man is Scooter. He is ready to find a permanent home in which he can live out his retirement years. Scooter, also known as Boots, loves to snuggle under covers, go for short walks down the block, and EAT! He may be an older fella, but what an appetite! He can be a bit demanding, as older men are, when it comes to breakfast and dinner time. Scooter has arthritis in his back leg in which he takes inexpensive medicine daily. The arthritis makes it hard for him to walk on hard wood or slippery surfaces, in which his foster mom put rugs down and that has solved the problem. Scooter would love to find a family that can be with him all day and love him for the rest of his life. If you have the time and love to adopt Scooter please contact his foster mom!

Allie warmed up to me very quickly and enjoys being around me all the time. She likes to curl up under the blankets in bed and under the blanket on the couch while I watch tv. She loves her own bed and blanket to lie in while I work on the comupter. She is crate trained and go in one very easily. She plays well and likes rawhide bones. She enjoys playing with my other foster Min Pin but not a real pal with my German Shepherd. Allie is fixated on my cats and I know she barks at them when they are out of reach. I don't know that she will be best living with cats. I don't know how she is with children because I don't have any. But, I think older children or no children would be best.

Diesel is a lively dog with a happy and affectionate demeanor. He seldom barks. He loves to go on walks, snuggle under blankets, leap incredible distances, fetch small stuffed animals/play tug of war, eat, and curl up in his travel carrier when he needs some rest. Diesel dislikes the cold, so his walks are briefer on very brisk days. He prefers being the "baby" of the house, so he enjoys being an only dog. He does, however, get along with other dogs and cats. Diesel is a sweetheart that loves human companionship and interaction.

Max: 5-6 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 10", 10 lb. Found as a stray.
Max is a darling little min pin who hasn't had a very nice life so far and is looking for someone to love and spoil him and treat him like the true prince he is. He doesn't hold his past experiences against anyone though, he is sweet and affectionate and some of his favorite things to do are to cuddle and snuggle with his people, preferably under a nice warm blanket with a rawhide by his side. Max was found as a stray, and we estimate his age to be about 5 or 6 - the shelter called IMPS to place sweet Max because like most min pins, he wasn't being exactly cooperative at the shelter. From the looks of his teeth, it seems as though he hadn't been fed decent food or had any regular dental care, so he is scheduled for a dental and shot update the week of December 15th, and he will be ready to go to a new home after that. Max is adorable and eager to please, and he gets along great with other dogs, has no problem with cats, and is housetrained. This little man deserves the chance for new life in a wonderful new home and will make whoever adopts him very happy.

Penny came to us from another rescue. She came to them from a home where she was severely neglected. The family kept her in the backyard with a Rottweiler all day and night. She hasn't had much contact or love from people and she is very defensive when you meet her. However, in just one day, she has become very attached to me and wants to be on my lap all the time.
Penny needs a home that understands that she may need a little time to come around, though from the looks of it, not too long! She is also an alpha dog and would do best to be either the only dog or with another non-dominant dog. I don't recommend children under the age of 12 or cats.
Penny can be a wonderful addition to your home if given the time and love she deserves.

Lucy and Desi are wonderful little dogs who somehow lost their way and ended up in a shelter. They both are wellfed and sweet little dogs who now need to find a forever home. They would make great companions for a home with no small children. The love to hang out on the couch and watch a good movie. They don't mind the other dogs in the family. Cats are not a problem, though Desi does like to try to get the cat to run and can't understand why the cat doesn't budge. lol If interested in adding these 2 sweet babies to your family, contact their foster mom.

Sammy is a loving, loyal, smart guy. His #1 mission in his doggie life is to please his owners. Sammy loves to be with his people, cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed. He is very smart, too. He learned the "sit" command in under a half an hour. Now that's impressive! If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion with no health issues, Sammy is your man! He is anxiously awaiting his new home so he can show you how smart and cute he is.
Update 7/08: I had a feeling Sammy would benefit from taking some obedience lessons. He is a quick learner and is taking to the training well. He wants to please and loves the treats he gets for being a good boy. It's a small investment that will benefit Sammy and his new owner. I go potty outside in the fenced yard and I spend lots of time with my foster mommy but I really love my foster daddy! I sit in his lap and watch t.v. every night. Shako: 10 yr old chocolate/tan male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 11.5", 8 lb. Shots up-to-date. Owner give-up.
Shako and several of his relatives were rescued from a horrible Puppymill (is there any other kind) about 5 yrs ago and he and his "sister" Trixie were adopted by the same couple. Now divorce forces he and his sister to find new homes. Shako is a quiet cuddley laid back couch potato who enjoys the company of other dogs. Due to his abuse and neglect when younger he has had a recent dental that left only a couple of teeth. But he will eat biscuits and dry food at a slow pace. Shako has never walked on a leash so a fenced yard is needed. He is very sweet and pats your face with his paw when you pet him. Please give him a chance and a retirement home with a soft couch, blankies to snuggle in and plenty of sunshine. He would love to have Trixie go with him or have another small dog for company. Shako is housebroken when kept on a schedule, crate trained and has been around kitties. Rambunctious kids would not be his speed so older kids only.

"Hi, My name is Rudy. I am just getting used to my new home and foster brothers and sisters. I am just waiting to go swimming in the pool but have to wait until my surgery (neuter) has healed. I am protective of my house as there are a lot of construction workers around and I allert my foster mom that someone is outside. I follow her around wherever she goes just to see if there might be a treat. Since I now have two feeding times not food down all day I am always on the look out for a taste of something. Don't let my size worry you. I like being a lap dog too. I can be held like a baby and be talked to and rubbed for hours on end. I am quite healthy and don't even act my age. "Hi, My name is Titan. I am making myself right at home with my new home, foster brothers and sisters. My foster mom told my that she has figured out why I was lost -- I climb chain link fences and dart out of open doors. I don't know why I do that because I love it here. I have to eat soft food with a little bit of kibble because my first parents did not take care of my teeth. I had 22 teeth pulled as they were all full of yucky stuff. I feel much better now and even try to chew the beef tendons everybody else chews. I would love to be an only dog as my foster mom tells me I need attention 24/7 -- whatever that means. Do you have a secure wooden fence, crate(for when doors are open and I love to sleep on one, and two good hands to give me attention? If you can say yes to the above then I would love to meet you. Oh yeah -- you can't laugh when my tongue hangs out of one side of my mouth as there are no teeth to hold it inside of my mouth. I thought Titan would never let me, his foster mom, get a word in edgewise! Since IMPS is a not-for-profit organization we have to ask for donations now and again to cover the high expences of certain dogs. Titan falls into that category. "Hi, my name is Ace and that name fits me to a T. I am new here at my foster home but so far I am just a jewel. I was an IMPS rescue dog about 7 years ago but my family had to give me back to rescue cause they have two kids now and I got very jealous. It was a tough decision for them cause they loved me very much and I was such a good boy except that I wanted all the attention. I get along very well with all of the fur kids here at my new foster home and I am warming up to my new foster mom and dad pretty quickly. Because of my issues with the "little green monster" I would probably do best in a home with maybe one other dog to play with or just by myself to be spoiled rotten. :) I will not be adopted out to anyone with kids younger than 12 so my foster mom says please don't apply for me if you have small kids. I never hurt them but we don't want to take any chances. I ride very well in the car and I walk great on a leash and I'm housetrained and ready to go. I am a very young 8 years old and I barely have just a touch of grey in my muzzle. I do have to take a pill twice a day to keep me from having seizures but the medicine is not very expensive and as long as I get my pill I'm A-OK. "I am one of four that came from a home where they could no longer afford to care for us. I have lived my whole life with my siblings, Max, Lucy and Dominic. Unfortunately, I was terrorized by a rottweiler at my last home and I have the scars to prove it, inside and out. Therefore, I may take a little longer to warm up and I don't know if I will like any other big dogs because of it. So far at my new foster home though I am getting along quite well with all the other dogs here, large and small. I am very shy in the beginning and need time to come to you when I am ready. I do go potty outside and I am good in a crate. CENTRAL FLORIDA - ANIMAL CONTROL CONFISCATION
IMPS has taken in 14 out of 18 Min Pins taken in a confiscation in Central Florida by Animal Control. These were actually a group of 23 dogs confiscated, the rest were Jack Russell Terriers. Of the remaining 4 Min Pins, 2 are with another rescue group and 2 are with the Lakeland SPCA.
These dogs were living in horrible conditions, all were very thin and living in their own feces and urine. They are all very sweet dogs and seem to thrive on human companionship. They have been in a local shelter since the middle of October due to legal complications. The shelter was adequate, but they were sleeping with no blankets or beds on cold hard concrete floors. They are reveling in their new homes, with warm air and blankets to sleep on.
If you feel you can help with a donation for their care, it would be gratefully appreciated. All but three of these dogs required extensive dentals and each needed their shots, Heartworm tests, fecals, microchips and spay or neuter. Two of them needed extra surgeries for large tumors. This is Lilli. She has been bred a number of times from the look of her little body. She is a little sway backed, but that could be because, at present, she is a little fat. Animal Control free fed and some of the little ones got a little too much food! Lilli is adorable and loves to be held and cuddled. She made herself one of the pack immediately. I haven't heard a peep out of her since she's been here so don't know if she was de-barked, as some of them were, or just that, at present, she has nothing to say. She seems to know to go outside to do her business, although I can't honestly say for certain she is 100% housebroken. I do know that she is truly adorable.

Ginger is an adorable fawn girl, about 4-5 years old. She packs plenty of love and energy in her slender 8-pound frame. Although just a bit timid and nervous at first, she is quick to warm up to loving arms and seems to thrive on human companionship and contact. This beautiful girl had a rough start to life, so it's no surprise that she now seems happiest when being held and cuddled. Ginger is quiet, sweet and playful, and doesn't appear to have a mean bone in her body. She gets along great with other dogs and seems to have no interest in taking on the role of alpha dog. If you are looking for a young, well-behaved, and beautiful minpin, Ginger is the girl for you.

Amy is truly adorable. She has a sweet, loving, playful personality. Amy loves her walks and is about 99% housetrained. She is wonderful with small children and loves to steal their toys. This is Daphne, what a tough life this pretty girl has had so far. She has made alot of people happy with all the beautiful babies she has made and now it is her turn for a chance at true happiness. She has had many babies and it does show. She is not showing any shyness and is just so excited when you rub her back. Her little nub can't wag fast enough. She does show quiet a bit of dominance so it may be best if she were adopted as an only dog. She has so far not had any accidents in the house. "My name is Hope. My foster mom named me that because I have heartworms and I need treatment before I can be adopted. I was the only unlucky one of the bunch. She is hoping that I will come thru the treatment ok, since I am so small and have been thru so much recently. I am getting along fine with my new family and will be ready for adoption around the end of January. I would appreciate any help you can send IMPS for my Heartworm treatment. My vet bills are pretty high already and I haven't even started treatment yet. If you are interested in adopting me, please write to my foster mom and let her know."

Nicholas: 7-10 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 10", 10 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Nicholas is a middle aged (7-10 years old) small(about 10 lbs), male who was once a breeder dog. He is a very timid boy, who even after 3 weeks in his foster home remains very timid around humans. He has a sweet personality once you get to know him but he will remain hesitant in his approach, even once he knows you. Because Nicholas was used for breeding, he is dominant around other dogs, including females. He is not good with cats...he wants to do them harm. Nick is far nervous to be with children. He is crate trained. Housebreaking is a work in progress. Nicholas has lost most of his teeth and because of this his lower jaw bone has shrunk and is considerably shorter than it should be. These two problems cause his tongue to hang out and he puddles saliva if he's in one place for any length of time. Nicholas is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped.
