"Hi I am an energetic 10yr old female Min Pin. I am house broken, and I love to cuddle with my humans. I like to snuggle down under my blanket in my bed or under the covers in your bed. I weigh about 19lbs. I like to go for walks on my leash, but sometimes I tend to pull. I am working on that. I love to sniff out all the places other dogs have been. But I don't really like to be around other dogs. I don't want to share my foster mom. I love to play with my toys, my foster mom has lots of cool toys and I can't make up my mind on just one. I am learning how to use a doggie door to go outside to potty. I don't bark at strangers. I am very friendly with new people. I hope my new forever home has a big, fenced yard so I have lots of room to play. I know how to "sit" when asked and I know how to "come" when called, sometimes. I've had all my shots, I've been spayed and I have my natural ears and tail! I have a raspy throat and I cough sometimes but it's not Kennel cough. I can't wait to meet you and to go home with you! Herman: ~10 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 11 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up.
"Hi everybody. I'm Herman. I'm a well behaved small minpin who likes to follow my human around the house and then nap on the couch. They think I am about ten years old. I really like to go on walks to do my business with my human. But I don't like it when I meet up with other dogs. My foster mom is trying to teach me to be more friendly. My foster mom had a whole bunch of company when I got here and I did just fine meeting everyone and keeping track of them. If I see people at the front door, I bark to let my foster mom know that we have company, but other than that, I don't bark much.
I like plastic squeaky toys. I'll chase them and bring them back, maybe. I am house trained and I am learning how to use a doggie door. My original mom died and I lived with a friend for the last year or so. I didn't get along with her other dogs so the friend surrendered me to IMPS. I really want to find a forever home. I'll be a really good companion for someone, but maybe not someone with other dogs. I am currently living with my foster mom in The Villages, FL. Ginger: 14.5 yr old chocolate female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 10", 8 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up.
GINGER is a little sweetie. She came in with Zena (see below) and we would prefer them to go together. She is a little overweight, but we are working on that. It will help her to live longer to have her at the proper weight. She does have a Grade 3 heart murmur and Stage 3 dental disease. She is not on Medication for the heart murmur because she is not coughing at this time. We do not dare to do her teeth because of ger age. She is extremely loving and just a joy. Her owners said she was housebroken, but her time table and ours are apparently at odds. She does use the dog door but won't use a pee pad. She is a candidate for our SENIOR DOG PROGRAM.
Note: Ginger is located in Luttz, FL - and we can fly this girl in cabin only.

Zena: 15 yr old chocolate female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 10", 10 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up.
Zena is a dolly girl. She came in with Ginger (see above) and we would prefer them to go together. She is a little overweight, but we are working on that. It will help her to live longer to have her at the proper weight. She does have a Grade 1 Heart Murmur and and Stage 4 dental disease. She does not Medication for the heart murmur because she is not coughing at this time. We do not dare to do her teeth because of her age.She also has a hernia at her rear end, which makes her body look a bit funny, but it doesn't seem to bother her. According to a blood test we gave her, she should have Pancreatitis but doesn't. We have her on a special food and a digestive enzyme and she has perked up a lot. We also have her on Cosequin, which has helped her joints a lot. She is extremely loving and just wants pats and loves but doesn't seem to want to get up to lay beside you or on your lap. Her owners said she was housebroken, but her time table and ours are apparently at odds. So far, she won't use a pee pad and gladly goes outside, but we miss at times, especially at night. She is a candidate for our SENIOR DOG PROGRAM. If you would like to keep her and her pal Ginger to keep until their time is up, we would be grateful.

Sebastian: 13 yr old chocolate male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 12", 13 lb. Fully vetted.
Sebastian is an approximately13 year old (don't tell him , he has no idea he is that old) chocolate minpin. He is spunky, fun, and boy does he love his food. He will tell you all about how much he loves it while you are getting it ready. He bounces and runs around, he would love someone that would take him on walks everyday so he could have new adventures to keep him busy. He does love his couch though and to be with his person so he is not just a get up and go. He does well with other dogs of all sizes (he goes to a doggie daycare everyday), is potty trained, and kennel trained. He does love to run so watch that door when it is open, he is speedy for being oldish.
